PoCk0 40
I just put a leather ferret collar on them and let them have it on for a few hours. Makes it 100 times easier when it comes to taking them out for real 1 Quote Link to post
Tug 168
I've always put collars on as part of normal play times, although not all the time. You can get pet style stretchy ones with a bell that are used for keeping track of them in a house. It gets them used to the sensation of something around the neck and a bit of weight. Progress from there really. You aren't going to get stung doing too much preparation. Quote Link to post
The one 8,467
Put collars on them the same time as running them threw pipes and playing with them ,Then they have experience most things when you take them out for there first days ferreting and they dont sit in the mouth of a burrow scratching at there collars etc , it just gives them a wee head start on kits that have spent the summer shut in a hutch Quote Link to post
