BedlingtonBird needs a Bedlington bitch!

Recommended Posts

:bye: hello from Dorset/Somerset border. Im desperately seeking a bedlington bitch for work. No crosses but as pure as possible, good certificates and working background, or at least not a prnacy poof of a bedlington. I work a spaniel and live on a fantastic farm so its pretty ideal really, will travel but wanting to get started asap. Planning to breed my spaniel soon so wanted to get my new bedlington used to Ramson first.

Any leads, help or advice really appreciated XXX Cheeeeeeers

oh got all the john glover litrature possible , but i want an actual live puppy now, sick of reading about it hehe :) fantastic stuff though.

The wbf tend to be against registered bedlingtons, and most on there will tell you k'c dogs are mostly show stuff, there is some evidence of this, but there are 'some' purebred working type bedlingtons around. The main argument from the registered side is that even if you use an outcross bedlington, ie bedlington x lakeland ( in whatever proportions)

is that the bedlington component must have come from the same origins as the bedlingtons they so hate!

It's a minefield mate, so good luck in your search!
