graham4877 1,181
Will see how many I get first. Most ads for lurchers seem to be around £150-200 so will probably start at £150. Mostly I want to recoup the cost of raising them and if there's enough over give the kids a holiday as we've not had the money to go away for a couple of years (stuck with school holiday prices!). I'm looking forward to having the pups though, should keep the kids amused over the school hols lol (and have educational value). Mum is very gentle and affectionate and the dad is calm and good natured. Mum is black and tan (she had merle siblings) and dad is blue. what they like at working is what people want to know, anyone looking for a pup should be offer a chance to see both dam and sire working,,tho dam would not be able to strait away but when she's fit after having pups the offer should be their! least thats what i've offered lads who had pups from me and it what i got offered with all the pups i've got ! 1 Quote Link to post
Tumbleweed 1
Thanks . I've not had lurcher pups before so it's helpful to know what people will want to know etc when it gets to the point of finding homes. My dh is the one who takes her out so I'll let him discuss that part lol. 1 Quote Link to post

mally 832
I new their was some thick people about, but most of em seams to be on here! THIS  at the end means JOKE just for the not so bright of you's out their I should think twice about calling folk thick matey, as for folk calling whippets, for the work i do and the land i work them on they suit me just fine and when lads have been down with there lurchers they haven't caught anymore than my whippets either lamping or ferreting/mooching in fact on a few occasions Vixen has run better. I'm not just a weekend hunter either, my dogs probably see more rabbits in a week than some do in a month. Infact in the huntinglife lamping competition 2010 The heat i ran against longdog runner we caught the most between us in all the heats. Its a FACT that the people who slag whippets off haven't actually seen a decent one work 2 Quote Link to post

Its a FACT that the people who slag whippets off haven't actually seen a decent one work Ive seen a few work yeah some were plain shite straight out some were ok they had abit of heart but they were limited if i was into running bunny's all the time they would still not be my first choice seen to many shivering to many gassed out after 20 to 30 run's and seen to many knock themselves and the nights done, ive been out with lads and them to say i cant run this on that land fair play to them they knew they would not bode well on there like i said i find them very limited little dogs but were all entitled to our own opinions Quote Link to post
