Boysie 12
I have a first cross bedlington/whippet, she came into season for the first time a day after turning 7 months old, now she has just turned 10 month old and is in season again (and has been for about 2 weeks now). She is swollen but only very small amounts of blood are present. Is it normal to come into season again so soon? Would this affect her health? She seems very frustrated, always trying to hump her coat.
eddie3 9
she is still a pup and will become more settled and regular has she gets older .
Sparticus 13
I agree with Eddie, wouldnt have thought it would affect her health once she settles down
skycat 6,174
Young bitches, as has already been said, do sometimes take a wee while to sort their seasons out. But if she continues to come in season every 3 or 4 months you would be best to get her checked out at the vet; I knew someone whose bitch did that and she had cystic ovaries and needed to be spayed.
