i bought a set of these at the back end of the season so ive yet to use them, i think they retail at about £120. has any one else used these before and are they any good?

Try Currys, twenty quid each, packs of two. We use them on the shoot with no bother and they can be used with most other makes I believe.

we use these when we out doing foot packs and any other lads who turn up have had much the same and on same frequency and in plantations we have had no problems,a bit annoying every now and again as you have alot of hikers and day walkers coming on as they quite popular the radios

We use the 'Binatone' with no problem. If others come in on our chosen frequency, usually children, we just tell em it's a police frequency... :whistle: ...they soon change their station..

We use the same ones Mike, they are fine and the range is around 2 miles I think, we had some cheeky little git come on our frequency last year but it made us chuckle the banter we had with him........

i used this type for a few seasons with the hounds but they have now changed to the little 2 way ones it like new if someone gives me £70 its theirs

I have used these UNIDEN for a couple of years and they have been fine with a decent range even in terrain full of obstacles to break up the signal.....
