Night fishing for bass!!!

Never had much luck catching bass with lures in the daytime, never mind at night! :laugh: Caught way more of them with bait at night though. :yes::thumbs:

 

I'm like you malt only ever caught them at night on bait, :yes: but as i've bought a new plugging rod i thought i'd give it ago ;) might as well take my plugging rod with me now (only on the beach mind) with the price of plugs :thumbs:

Let me know how you get on! I bought a 10 ft spinning rod to hit the bass with a few years back, but all I've ever caught on it is mackerel and he odd pollock! :laugh::thumbs:

that looks like fun and dont need mountains of kit,as i would do it in summer hols,any pointers on rods an reels will get on ebay :thumbs:

 

Not much help from me on that one but most plugging rods are about 8ft, 9ft not your usual beach casters of 12 and longer,... anything that will cast a minimum of 2oz probably, with a small spinning reel. :thumbs:

cheers i have got couple old beachcasters down in dorset,but im thinking a rucksack containing lures etc rod & reel wont take up much room for the week or 2 ayear it might get used :laugh:

I certainly will Malt :thumbs: but like you mackerel and pollack will probably be the only fish i catch as well. :laugh: (not for the lack of trying my i add) :laugh:
