Guest Ditch_Shitter
Righto, Jigs. I've just put a note in my little black book. My regular taxi driver goes past this place to get home each day. I'll see him tuesday and will ask him to drop by and ask for a number I visited this place one time myself, looking for my MEGSDW's. Lady had none of them but did show me various weird and wonderful exotics. I wouldn't know one from another. But I Do know top notch husbandry when I see it. These people treat their fowl better than many treat their children! If they have it, it'll be Good! No muck 'n rubbish there I'll be in touch once I hear something either way. shepp 2,285
I used to have some miniture game birds and a few laying breeds, morans, light sussex, white leghorns and rhode island reds. I plan to get a few more later in the year, i think i'll go for some game birds again, some leghorns and i quite fancy a couple of those daft looking chinese ducks that stand really upright. Madcowz 0
We have Light Sussex, Isa Browns (for the eggs), Belgian Watermael which are ever so cute, and a few other rescued brown uns. Did have some others but a bleeding fox came along at midday and ate loads of them. Still haven't paid him back. We sell the eggs at work which helps us cover the cost of the feed and gives us a good supply of eggs. /mad

skycat 6,173
Samba: I'm looking for some splash OEG or modern game bantys: have you got any or know where I could get some? What colour you looking for Skycat ? Do you want them for showing or just pets ? Couple of me Da'S...... Nikey: that's a nice looking silver duckwing. No, not for showing or anything: just like to have them around: they run loose in the garden. I think the colour is called 'splash': more or less white with a touch of blue on their wings. Apparently you get this colour by putting 2 lemon blues ( I think they're called that)together. A mate of mine gave me some eggs but unfortunately a dog killed the chicks. (not mine I might add!) The cock bird I have at the moment is a Golden Duckwing. As mine are loose I can only have one cock bird at a time, but the hens are OEG x modern game x barbe d'ucle. So I end up with a sort of leggy mille fleur cum OEG shape banty covered in speckles. I've had them for years now and they're not worth a dime but I like them, so it would be nice to get a very pale speckledy leggy thing LOL but I would like to have some decent modern game as well, just a trio. I've just found a pic of the splash on the internet: Edited May 27, 2007 by skycat
