I don't have any chickens just yet. But I have a patch of ground ear marked for them. I want some Black Laced Wyandottes. Just to look at. I'd also love some Modern English Game full sized Silver Duckwings, but they appear not to exist any more

 

What I must get is some Guinea Fowl! Love them crazy f*ckers! Just too much on just yet to even think about them. Maybe next year?

i used to keep chickens when i was a kid, me & my little brother had everything from scruffy little crossbred bantams, to fuzzy white silkies & fecking great big brahmas. chicken for sunday lunch, fresh eggs everyday... we had ducks & geese too.

when i get some space, i'll get a few hens. some Dorkings, maybe an indian game cock. a pair of geese too maybe.

hi have old english bantams i use to have alot of different game fowl but got rid of everthing just kept the oeg bantams

used to have 49 birds. Couldnt get enough eggs to sell from our door step! Same problem as you though, the underkeeper on the estate called while i was milking and said that he thought he had just seen a fox in the garden. Thought it had to be my mums lurcher (foxy looking blond mongeral! ) however when I got home 30min after builders had left and 15 after phone call, we only had 30 left She paid a heavy price though, she had left a trail of our birds for her cubs husband found the cubs 7 in total not long after that had to move (rented property) so only have 3 at present, but going shoping with my birthday money to get a few more meadowsweet birds. Try to steer clear of auctions as we ended up geting birds with lung problems which didnt show until later in the year.

I breed Orpington's and Wyandottes. At the minute i have £150 worth of eggs orders just of one colours, i keep Gold Laced Orpingtons, Blue Laced Wyandottes, Gold Laced Wyandottes, Blue Orpingtons and a few others.

Its handy this topic came up,I have been searching for anyone that has Asian game birds for my mate with no luck.Anyone out there able to help.He has a hen but his 1 and only Asian cock was killed by the dog Ireland preferable but any info would be much appreciated.
