Tancho 0
I am considering putting a whippet over my 1st cross Beddy/whippet and I am hoping someone out there with experience of this cross could give me some info. What coat type/colour can I expect from the pups? My bitch is a fawn smooth/broken coated. Will the pups throw to the classic grey rough coated type? or does the colour depend on the whippet stud? Or is there no way of telling? I will attempt to get a photo up of the little bitch. Quote Link to post
Guest Doug
You'll get some roughs and some smooths. Some of the roughs won't break their coats until they are nearly a year old. Colour will vary according to what colours are in the mix. Black and blue dominates. It's a nice cross for rabbiting and ratting. Quote Link to post
Gin 500
I would say its the best cross for just rabbiting and ratting. Quote Link to post
