In my yard at the mo. I deliberately dont walk the dogs in the fields this time of year because of leverets, so they have decided to sit outside my bloody gate instead :censored:

 Nahh, sober as a mad March hare mate :D Id say they are both equal on their own ground, but, put a brown on the bog and the Red On the fen, then the red will think all his birthdays will have come at once  and the poor auld famouse, bran by bullet x zap, put back to harvey, will stare in amazment, as it tares across the big open fen :clapper::D;)

there used to be a coursing event held at Annan , in SW Scotland , it was held twice a year for years , but my god can the little feckers run there, not the giggest of fields but if you get a good run of a couple of fields , they sort the pups from the dogs cos they can there , but i agree that summer hares should be left cos of them being full of young , alltough i have seen some young leverets spoil many a good dog

Ive been to Annan to watch the coursing there, last time was 98, went with NB and a few of his mates in a minibus, the pisshead commoners standing next to all the posh toffs sipping their champagne and dining from their wicker picnic baskets, we got some looks that would kill that day  . It would have been better if it was lurchers rather than pure greyhounds, as theyre nowhere near as good to watch on a hare. Shame this wee event is banned now though :censored:
