The one 8,488
Ive always left two together in the past, once i did it with three and the third litter was two weeks younger than the first two and i dont know if i lost a odd kit or two but they managed to raise a pile of kits that year . not that i would ever breed all my jills but to do so with one in each hutch i would need to be on a small holding Quote Link to post
Dazzam 239
I tried keeping two jills together to rear there young last year, never again. Within two days only three from thirteen kits remained. I think this was due to one of them trying constantly to drag the other back into the nest anytime she left and the kits got squashed during the squabble. I guess it's all about getting to know your ferrets. Quote Link to post
