mick1212 389
me mate flys one cracking little birds dynamite on magpies highly strung aswell if its a first bird id stay away from a spar weight management is the key to these birds and its a small window compared to a harris hawk but depends on what quarry you have available and which hawk would suit your quarry 1 Quote Link to post
waidmann 105
I have a female which I will be flying at magpies etc this season( my first season with a spar) bosting little birds. Quote Link to post
paulus 26
very entertaining bird to fly, but as already said not the bird for the inexpierenced austringer as they can be very highly strung and the margin for a lost/dead bird verses otimum flying weight is easy to get wrong from day to day, also become a dab hand at imping feathers very quickly Quote Link to post
j j m 6,553
ive flew a few spars over the years great birds to fly but not for the beginer they take tantrums like a woman the weight must be spot on and you need to be good at imping as they always need new tails done Quote Link to post
