cocker 2,654
The RSPCA is one of the richest charities in this country. In the last four years alone, it received a total income of £444,664,000. The bulk of this staggering sum came from the general public. £20,686,000 of it came from it’s investment portofolio over that four year period. Imagine how many millions of pounds it must have tied up in in investements to bring in that kind of return! Quote Link to post
cocker 2,654
RSPCA figures for 2011 show that they destroyed 8313 dogs and 12,329 cats and they state that healthy animals are destroyed because they are opposed to keeping dogs in kennels for lengthy periods. How long is too long? That is a staggering 22 dogs and 33 cats per day.The RSPCA state that ‘animals of unknown origin’ will be euthanised after only seven days! Quote Link to post
graham4877 1,181
was on yestaday mate the dog jumped out! why didnt the owner then stop? read the other thread, very fishy that story, owner or driver of pick up did come back?? 1st it was chucked out of a car next it was chucked out of the horse box then it jumped out, the witness said he was driving at 70mph when the pick up towing the horse box come flying past speed limit is 60mph when towing, so taking in to account braking and time laps the pick up must of been doing a ton, for him to see it all then stop in time not to hit the dog?? but driving at 70mph if something falls out of a horse box how are you gonna see even better how are you going to drive back on a motor way?? more like the pick up moved out eth way from hitting the dog. and maybe the witness hit the dog!!
