skycat 6,173 Posted June 29, 2012 Report Share Posted June 29, 2012 A good lurcher is quite capable of finding its own game: no need for a pointer if the dog has the nose and the opportunity to practice its hunting skills as opposed to just being slipped on something that has already been put up. I love seeing a lurcher working the land, using nose and eyes as it quarters a field looking for scent. 1 Quote Link to post
