Do you think there would be a case of discrimination against lefthanded shooters levelled at AIR ARMS?

Without any intentional big-headed bullshit, l reckon l could make a Prosport sing downrange to one-hole groups at 50-metres. But, I'm unable to, thanks to it being unavailable and unusable to me.

Fabulous rifle. The finest looking air rifle there is.

I agree Simon but i still bought one and can shoot it Okay right handed, But not to it's full potential,

Until that is i Purchase a CS 700 or CS800 Left hand stock in 5 weeks time when i'm back Home

as i'm working away till then and No shooting   :angry2:,

So i will order a new stock and Realize a dream of My Mine to shoot the Best springer shooting out of a Gifted stock i.e. Left Hand.

If its new Flow it will need to bed in pal.   My tuned HW97KT also had the same problem at the start of needing to bed in.   The zero shift is normal I believe and due to picking up bad shooting h

Hi Daz.

I've thought on the lines of commissioning Custom Stock to make a left handed sporting one for a Prosport of my own but, it defeats the object in that, the factory Air Arms stock is what attracts me to the rifle in the first place. It's still a posh TX200 with a redesigned underlever system and to shoot it off my left shoulder is too much of a compromise, as I think you are experiencing.

I enjoy some great shooting with my own .22 TX200 rifle as it is, especially since Andy tuned and tweaked it so, a .177 TX Mk.III with the current stock design in walnut would make more sense for my money now.

Then again, I reckon my HW77 would make a formidable match against anyone with a Prosport. It may be a 'plain Jane' by comparison of looks but, Christ Almighty what a seriously accurate underlever the older Weihrauch rifle is; so, I'm not exactly left poorly off for top shooting kit!

Just that the Prosport is the most beautiful looking thing of all air rifles I've ever seen, straight out of a box..

All the best mate for you and yours.

Quick update.

I went out on Saturday night and spent some time zeroing my rifle and getting some pellets through it.

This is a 30 yard 6 shot group with Falcon Accuracy Plus measuring just under 2 cm's across (one flyer) after it had about a tin of pellets through it and before I'd mastered it. A 5p coin just covers it (not including the flyer). I was using a fixed mag x4 scope which made things slightly harder. I was pretty please because I've only been shooting about a month.

Its now had nearly two tins of pellets through it and I have mastered the correct hold. I haven't had a chance to shoot any groups yet but I did set up some HF targets in my mums garden this morning at 25m and my god its accurate now.

I will post another 30 yard group when I get the chance to get out and shoot which will hopefully be tomorrow. I'm expecting the groups to be much tighter now.

Thanks Si.

I still need to find the best pellet for the barrel.

I found out an interesting fact about Falcon Accuracy Plus. They are actually rebranded JSB Exact RS which aren't available in this country. The rifle seems to like them, they fly very fast as they are only 13.43 grains, and although they are light, they don't seem to be affected much by the wind.

Nice group Flow, great to see such a beautiful rifle is performing just as well mechanically.

Yes thats correct re FAP/JSB RS.. but watch how the groups open up after 35yds with a slight breeze :( Great pellet sub 30yds though :)

Thanks for the comments.

I had an hour spare today so I thought I would go round my mums house and shoot a few spinning targets. Her garden is roughly 50 yards long and backs onto a field so there's plenty of room.

I shot this 4 shot group before I left. It measures 14mm (.55 of an inch) at its longest point which is 6mm tighter than my last group (although that was a 6 shot group) and it easily fits inside a 5p piece.

I'm still using the fixed x4 mag scope but it seems to work well on the rifle. Its still quite difficult shooting a group at 30 yards though because the cross hair is bigger than the target.

What do you think?

I'm pretty please with it as I have only been shooting a month and have only shot 3 and a half tins of pellets.

Any suggestions as to what pellets to try next?

Mate, read what I said on the other thread.

I didn't say I've never missed, I said I've never had any runners or the need for a very quick follow up shot that a multi shot PCP allows.

Yes I have a LRF and have calibrated my scope with CG.
