"Earth!" 503
Not had a pair of wellies for a few years as they dont last me 6 6mth. always had the chameau leathers, the last pair i fecked within a day getting through a hedge and pricking the toe on a strand of barbed wire. all i wear now are the Lowas with gaiters if wet. chartpolski 24,821
I had a pair of Muck Boots; they didn't last 1/2 a season !! Soles wore smooth and the toe split !! Yes, they are light, warm and comforable, but I expect more for that price !!! A pair of B & Q wellies and a decent pair of boot socks do the same job for a 1/5th of the price !! Cheers.

trenchfoot 4,243
Hunter soles wear out too quick, just like muck boots. Unless you can find a pair of royal sovereigns with the replaceable sole. John Norris of Penrith sometimes do slight seconds for a more sensible price. Aigle and Le Chameau are on a par and probably the best out there. Aidle get my vote for my short stumpy legs. If you are bothered about punctures then get a pair of gortex lined leather wellies. I won a pair of Dubarry Wexfords in a clay shoot 2 years ago. Never leaked not too hot in summer, great in cold weather with a pair of thick sock (wore them in norway in january at -35).
