Muck Boots = comfort and thats about it..they rip very easily ..make your feet sweat like chuffery and if you do any serious amount of walking then you,ll wear the soles down within 6 months..walking

Aigle Parcours iso. Unbeatable.   Muck boots are fine but you will do a pair a season.   The Aigles are like wearing Harrods finest baffies

not them you will look a right twat , these ones

I now have a very cheap pair - "stormwells" in a pale pink colour, ak theyre alright but uncomfortable as anything, only got these ones to see me through the summer. But im ordering a new pair of hunters for the new season.

Earth has a similar pair......

I had a pair of Muck Boots; they didn't last 1/2 a season !! Soles wore smooth and the toe split !! Yes, they are light, warm and comforable, but I expect more for that price !!! A pair of B & Q wellies and a decent pair of boot socks do the same job for a 1/5th of the price !!

Cheers.

Hunter soles wear out too quick, just like muck boots. Unless you can find a pair of royal sovereigns with the replaceable sole. John Norris of Penrith sometimes do slight seconds for a more sensible price. Aigle and Le Chameau are on a par and probably the best out there. Aidle get my vote for my short stumpy legs.

If you are bothered about punctures then get a pair of gortex lined leather wellies. I won a pair of Dubarry Wexfords in a clay shoot 2 years ago. Never leaked not too hot in summer, great in cold weather with a pair of thick sock (wore them in norway in january at -35).
