COMPO 54
a mate of mine who lives in london joined the NPPC he got a discount as they dont have much land in the south east......then he recalled he has a boat on a canal in derbyshire, and has been using that as a base and shooting around there........he likes it, it has led to permission on neighbouring land when he made a mistake and put his hide in the wrong field , the farmer asked him what he was doing, when it transpired it wasn't NPPC land and my friend was trying to apologise and retreat dignified the farmer made him set up in another of his fields and granted him permission after he shot a reasonable bag for him that day. edited to add he forgot he had use of the boat as it was his sisters boat and she left him it in her will..........so he had only just taken ownership of it as such.....he uses it for shooting and fishing trips around there now Edited June 29, 2012 by COMPO Quote Link to post
