What's the long 'slits' in the top two boxes for? Im presuming it's to put your fingers to carry it? If so you wouldn't get my putting my fingers in there with a few hungry ferts after handling/gutting rabbits

haha no them slots are just to let air in, rather than holes, i agree id not put my fingers in there either!! im just waiting for some strapping to fix to boxes

yeah its made out of 9mm and 4 mm external ply painted in cuprinol garden shades paint, thats pet safe! and left over from some job i did lol,

They look great, I will be needing a replacement before too long for my ferrets as they have been digging at the air holes which have opened right up, one more season and they will be out!

I prefer having separate sections though as when you've got your hands full and you open the lid and they all try and jump out it can be a bit of a juggling act to get them all back in.

Last box I bought the guy had painted green with pet safe paint, but when it rains the green comes off a bit which is a bit of a pain. Does the Cuprinol paint stay put?

Yes the cuprinol shades garden paint it used for garden furniture, seats tables, etc so it won't come off,

Bought one of kevyn boxes as i wanted a little single/small box for going out and about on full days just for my best team my 2 jills absolutely perfect size top quality well packaged in the post excellent communications between kevyn receiving payment through to him posting too me thanks again kev cheers geo

I like the green one could I sit on it ???? That's what's lacking in the ferret boxes about today ,???? Is it heavy ????? And can you put another row if less air holes underneath ??? Oh will it fit about 6, 7 jills in it if so pm me a price posted I will take one cheers j ,
