whippets making noise

I'll just add to the OP if you do get a pup and your worried that it may make a noise when your not there then tell your neighbour that your getting a dog and to tell you if they hear any noise from it when your out. This way you wont fall out with anyone....

In my experience, Whippets aren't a particularly noisy breed; just the opposite in fact. Providing they are well housed, well fed and well exercised, they are happy to curl up in a kennel or in the house, but they MUST have pleanty stimulation and exercise to tire them out !

Cheers lads my dogs do get exercised twice at least a day more often than not three times, just wondering the trates of the breed, many thanks to all posters

the one i had was nearly 12months before i heard her bark, made me and her jump.

after that she barked once or twice a year. she made more noise in her sleep.

Iv got two and they are very quite but dog will go bilistic if someone is lurching around.so hes a good guard dog

Mine is normally quiet about the house, but he is one of the first to bark if anyone comes in the yard!

 

He also does this Boooo, woooooooo, woooooooooooo thing when he is pleased to see someone

Mine to especially when he's carring a bone,a sock or worst still her indoors knickers lol
