patterdalejoel 669
I think Tuzo is correct he looks look to carry a fair amount of carlisle blood he hasn't any heal either not a good trait to breed in a line of fowl. On the up side i bet he will taste good. heal? do you mean heel?
burnie69 376
heal or heel or maybe spur

courseadog 231
I have to say there is some foreign blood in him pos shamo ,yellow legs with red in ,also the cone has been dubd but if u look closely it ain't smoth more like the walnut look of foreign blood
Hardfeather 56
i didnt breed him mate but about 12 months old. why? I asked because he looks well developed but doesn't seem to have a spur to speak of,they don't even look like its been cut back they look fairly smooth. Not sure about him having carlisle in him though.

patterdalejoel 669
i would agree there possibly may be carlisle in him but would definelty disagree with shamo or oriental blood. his comb is like that due to dubbing. iv seen and dubbed pea combs ad they are not that long or narrow. the red in his legs is a sign of verility and all birds have them not heard of it being unique to shamo if it was anything oriental it would be asil as he is not leggy or stretched like a shamo, but id bet money on no oriental in him. courseadog 231
Ok probly the case but there is more to that bird then just oxford
courseadog 231
Strange about the spur ,it could b late developing which could also indicate ,foreign blood
patterdalejoel 669
he has had a spur in the past, previou owner reoved it. he definetly has one.
burnie69 376
I'd say he's knocked he spur off rather then it being removed.i've 1 who did it and they never grow back either.
courseadog 231
Did cross my mind about it being knocked of to ,they will never grow back

Abel Magwitch. 13
Just saying what I see after seeing some dodgy replies on here. Looks to have those Milner bloodlines in it, so not my cup of tea for an english fowl except if you like to win a 20p prize card. Edited July 28, 2012 by Abel Magwitch.
