carp king 155
hi my pal recently fitted a new spring in my lighning xl due to it been a bit tired and down on power. now while he was fitting the spring the a few parts fell out the trigger mechanism, so to cut a long story short he couldnt put it back together properly so i decided to put it in the shop. now the bloke in the shop said that when he put the trigger back together the gun wouldnt cock? so he had to cut 3 coils off the spring (without even asking me if wanted the work done). the question is do you think he will have had to do that to get the gun to cock, we had the gun cocking but on when the safety was on? or has he done it to turn the power down a bit on the gun? atb mike Quote Link to post
atomlab 104
prob done to lower the power abit. fitting a stock spring will take most guns over 12 ft lbs. or will go over when bedded in. Edited June 26, 2012 by atomlab Quote Link to post
