Ant8681 0
Hi all, I had a quick mooch around one of my permissions this morning where I an trying to exterminate the grey squirrel, I hit my half century yesterday after two months of baiting them so I am now egar to get myself a ton! I slipped into the woods at 6am and got myself into position 35 yards from my bait table, I didnt have to wait long for my first chance of a shot as a jay screeched into the woods and perched on the table but the movement of the netting spooked it and it flew off. Half an hour passed before anything else showed up, this time it was a squirrel, it searched around for ages on the floor before jumping on to the table then when it presented a good shot I sent a crosman into its earhole and the Hw100 had bagged number 51! After the dog had gone and picked it for me I thought it was time to move to the next bait station, we were there for about 20 minutes before another jay showed itself, this time there was no netting to move so I settled myself in for the shot, the pellet found its mark and the jay dropped down dead. At this point I pulled out my brand new opiniol to cut off the tale of the squiz, I have no idea what happened next but I ended up slicing into my finger so I headed for home. http://i1171.photobu...67050B-orig.jpg Quote Link to post
