AlBrown 61
Is there anyone on here who has a Brocock Sentinel, they were released as a limited edition of 100 only in 177. I am collecting one later this week and looking to see if anyone has any experience of one. They look nice and are extremely light which for me is a huge plus. over to anyone else. AlBrown 61
Well collected the Sentinel yesterday and after getting used to the rifle cocking mechanism, away I went to zero the rifle in, took 4 shots till it was perfectly on the bull at 35m so fired a few out to 45 then 50m all falling perfectly. Only fired 20 or so shots through it before a final chrono check and bang on 11.65 Ft Lbs so well pleased. Will have it out over the next week plaguing the local pigeon population. pianoman 3,587
Was this one a springer, PCP or air cartridge? Look after it and keep it well Alex. You may well have a highly sought-after collector's piece there one day. I think, with only 100 issued there isn't a great likelyhood of a plethora of experienced Brocock Sentinel owners' replies to your original post query. So you'll have to keep us informed as to how well it shoots and hunts! ATB Simon Quote Link to post

It will be kept as clean and as safe as possible. Alex Quote Link to post
AlBrown 61
Had a nice morning out with the rifle, dogs and the trusty 4x4. First farmyard was dead all cleaned up so nowt for the woodies to eat. Moved on to the next and there were a few about so parked up about 50m away from the silo and grain store. had 22 shots in total sadly 2 that were shot on the roof ended up in the gutter and a woodie flew off then suddenly folded and dropped but was in an area I can't access. but other than that was a cracking morning out. Think it was 14 woodies, 6 doves and 2 ferals for the ferrets. Photo pants quality as my usual phone in getting repaired and using a shop leant one. The new toy is brilliant to shoot with seriously light a smidge over 3lbs! amazingly accurate (taking woodies out too 70m with a perfect head shot) and nice looking to boot so well pleased can't believe how cheap I got it. This one also had the carbon weave treatment. Can honestly say this is one of if not the most accurate rifle I have shot, had FX200, Air Arms S410, S200 & S300 BSA Ultra and T10 but this rifle blows them away for accuracy. Can't say enough good things about it, tried it out yesterday to see how many shots i would get on target and sadly this is the only let down for the rifle you get around 35 at peak accuracy then it falls away quickly, and filling it too only 190 instead of the recommended 200 bar defo makes a huge difference in shot accuracy. thankfully I always have a bottle in the car so this is not a major problem. taking the shot count and hunting ability of the rifle I would give it a good 9.5 out of 10 Nothing better than keeping the tree rat population in check, freezer will be full again in a few days so plenty good grub for Tiree.
