Haddock, cod and the first of this year mackerel.

Not managed many fishing trip lately, been busy with a mixture of college, courses and bad weather!

 

 

One of the courses was my 3 day fire course, Here's a picture of 2 of my classmates in full BA gear, really good 3 days learning about the basics of fire fighting. Anyway back to the fishing....

 

Had a nice trip off last night after college with a couple of mates, got my first couple of mackerel which was good. Still patchy but when you found them it was 3/4 at a time.

 

 

First up was a nice little red gurnard, another species for this years list.

 

 

Then straight into haddock, and sam with a cod... fishing was quite frantic for the first 2 hours with manly haddock being caught and the odd cod of varying sizes...

 

 

Best cod of the day, put up a good fight. Shame it wasn't a massive haddock!

 

Nice to have the sun out for once and the boys had a good evening off as well.

Ha ha wondered how long it would take before someone from WSF commented! Is there many guys from wsf on here?

A few but they take medication for it. We'll be at SCONE this week on the SACS stand drop in if your there. you'll have to try pigeon watch next.
