remi700 99
Sally bushes. Just stick cuttins in the ground and they'll grow like feck! Then cut them and lay them when they get too high. Cant beat the natural thing! 1 Quote Link to post

remi700 99
Oh maybe you call them willow?? Grow about a 2 foot a year and need almost no soil to grow. Theres a shallow sand bar in the middle a the lough where I decoy. At low water it was only an inch deep. Cut a few sally branches and stuck them in the ground on it. 3 Years later I have a perfect island to hide the boat in when I'm decoyin! Edited June 23, 2012 by remi700 Quote Link to post

Ghillie2506 3
Go to agree on the willow, we take cuttings and put them around our ponds on the estate, grows very quick, could put some birch round about for variation. Quote Link to post
Blakloks 5
Do you just take a cutting anywhere on the tree or branches from a particular part of the tree Quote Link to post

killbilly 17
Do you just take a cutting anywhere on the tree or branches from a particular part of the tree I take them just above an existing fork - not sure it makes a difference but it nearly always works for me Quote Link to post
