I would say he will just about have reached his full height by 7mths/8mths, you may get another inch max, he will start to fill outwards now. Terriers physically mature quicker than bigger dogs.

He will probably be at his leggy stage and never look quite right, so dont worry if he is looking gangly, as long as he is not showing loads of ribs or pins. Just feed him as much as he can eat at the moment...chicken is good, vary it with different meats, tripe. You should'nt get worms with chicken as long as it is fresh. If you are concerned about worms, freeze any meat you get for 2wks prior to feeding.

ive always thought it was a pound an inch ,14" 14lbs for a dog 13" 13lbs for a bitch mind you thats adult

I disagree totally with 14 14 as the dogs end up like weeds. A dog should be at least 18lb at that height, I have had heavier but as long as they get there, the extra weight means it can handle what comes at him. Too light and they have no stamina.

Your pup will be getting close to normal height but will fill out for another year or so. 16lb should be ok as long as it aint 8 inch tall lol :D

A 12" 12lb dog would look emaciated..........my bitch is about 12" and 16lb fit. jrt, forget feeding dry food AND meat. Ditch the dry food and concentrate on raw.........
