Phantom 631
Tony how you having your gun on the train mate? Should i take the stock off and keep stock and action in my gunslip? I've got my action protected in my slip, which is in my trolly case, the stock is seperate in my backpack. Therefore I'm travelling with components and not a gun! Takes care of all the legailities now its no longer British Rail (who would have allowed complete guns!) Last time I kept the gun and stock seperate in my case Perfectly legal to do so If you carry the gun complete, you may get funny looks fromother passengers and the train companies may require you to have written permission from each company you use, some of whome may demand a payment. So to keep it at component level; seperate the action from the stock. Keep the action protected in the slip, the woodwork seperate but inthe same luggage if needed Making it all lawfull:yes: Also.. are you taking food and beer with you or going to the tesco there? I've got a bag of Midget gems and a couple of cans for the journey. Its 6 hours for me, so I wont be intoxicated when I get there, Davy is picking us up from Swindon and we'll pop into Tesco when we get there for the evening grub and beer Tony Quote Link to post
