Didnt think it would be a problem tony. :/ i get on the busses all the time with gun ive had a few weird looks but only 1 driver has ever questioned it. thats a blag then :/

Hi Skot,

I've checked it out further :)

Page 29 of The "National Rail Conditions Of Carriage" States that it is now at the descretion of each company (where it used to be okay under British Rail as long as it was unloaded) . So written permission would be required from each company we will be using if the guns are kept intact. Each company can charge a fee for the gun as well if they wish, so I think it's a good idea to seperate the action from the stock, this renders the gun technically inoperable and as such not a gun, but parts that can be carried without fear of complaint or penalty :D

Mine will be broken down into scope, action and stock. and well padded with clothes for the weekend and will be assembled on site. You will also need to remember to take a slip with you as we will be crossing public roads from the camp site to the HFT Course so it has to be covered as you would expect

Thats what the zero targets are out for

To minimize rezeroing you could leave the scope on the action and just seperate it from the stock.

But it's not too much hassle spending a few minutes out of the weekend doing it
