airbourne 128
nothing, if you dont know what you want from a stud dog without asking on a forum you have no business breeding. there's more than enough shite being bred without you adding to it. i know what i want to put over her mate if i decided to breed her, she's a proven bitch, but whats wrong with asking other peoples views. you don't no me so what makes you think i don't no what iam talking about. or are you one of these no it alls just out of nappies if you know, why ask the question? true i dont know you. the fact you are asking a fourm what to put over YOUR bitch, based on the breeds in her make up, a bitch no one has seen working, no one knows what its capable of, or even her age is what makes me think you dont know what you are talking about. and no i am not out of nappies, i quite enjoy wearing them actually, thank you very much. your's with shit in his pants, TheBigDog just the reply you get from a child Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Mate, i think the commennts made were fair enough. If you had stated you owned a 5 year old bitch, stated her breeding and mentioned how you work her, what her attributes are, what her short comings are and what you hoped for from the pups you may of got a more detailed reply......... chartpolski 23,111
There are many variables in breeding Lurchers; what work does the Dam do ? What work does the Sire do ? What work do you want the pups to do ? Do you want to put more speed in the line... or hieght, brains, coat, feet, etc ? Is the bitch REALY worth breeding from ? Can you buy a pup in that will do the same job as what you are hoping to breed ? Have you got homes for any excess pups ? If you have answers to all this and still want to breed, then give great thought about the Sire. Your bitch has FOUR different breeds in her already, so I personaly wouldn't want to add any more. So that would limit you to something with Collie/Whippet/Bull/Greyhound in it, as a Sire. There are some great dogs around with that type of breeding. Just make sure you use a GENUINE dog as the Sire and you won't go far wrong ! Cheers. 2 Quote Link to post
