Try setting the trap as light as you possibly can..I set mine so if a flea as much as breath's on it..it will go off Yep got your pm lastnight, i was going to get back to you this morning. I was to buisy with that lad lastnight..seems he's got a right problem about one thing and another. To be honest i cant be botherd with the Military Speck pest /vermin control thing.. there two totaly different occupations. Regard's to those trap's..iv never used them before but iv consider it recently..seen some on ebay that look ok and sound cheep enough. Give them ago just bait them up good with barly or somthing..id get 3 or four of them and use them together in close proximity of each other. Probuk 93
I think the treadle plate on them is mesh aswell so it will blend in with the rest of the cage hence making the rabbits more confident about entering. Put them where theres pleanty of rabbits..when one rabbit gets confident enough about going near it the rest follow, if you see my point Nick. I wouldnt expect miricles for a few day though Marty Quote Link to post
nickarris83 17
Found out where the rabbits are mainly entering and where im going to stick one of the cages, under the water troff which i used for our horses is on bricks and against the fence line they have dug a hole right centre under the troff and there is plenty of room to stick the cage . The other cages i will stick behind the fenceline where the main warren is as its so hard to ferret there due to the overgrowth and sloe bushes . i have shot a fair few and also caught some babies with my hands as they just froze by my feet. Due to one of our horses doing serious damage to there ligament down a deep rabbit hole and nearly had to be put down , the rabbits have got to be cleared. Atb Nick Quote Link to post
