Afternoon All,

Have been browsing the site and forum for a time now and thought it hight time I join and contribute.

I'm 32, from the south coast, Portsmouth. Former Army, for my sins, now working as a Production/Manufacturing Manager for a large International outfit.

Have been involved in all forms of hunting, fishing and other outdoor sports since the age of around 6 or 7.

Fish plenty right here in the UK, however I tend to spend more time in the US hunting than the UK mainly because, as a nation, they have a much better attitude towards hunting, and they don't make it prohibitively expensive for you to do so...After all if you drop a good sized deer here in the UK, they then double pocket you for the meat or trophy. Exorbitant. Plus as a big fan of bowhunting, the US is just the ticket for me.

Hope to engage in some good stuff with you all over the coming months, years etc.

Regards

Morti

Note to David Cameron: Chop chop old boy, get that ludicrous ban overturned please.

Thanks all, a warm welcome indeed.

Hope to get involved in some good conversation with you in the coming months/years etc. Hopefully pick up some usefull nuggets of wisdom while i'm here too. I'm already extremely impressed with the breadth of knowledge of the users here, nice to be amongst my sort of people as to be fair, most of the townies here in Portsmouth think i'm a blood-thirsty idiot simply for having a passion for fieldsports....pure madness.
