Moll. 1,770
Anyone in the Hartlepool/Teesside area got any hatching eggs for sale? Just looking for two/three to put under a bantam. You can have some of these Ruby, probably fit about 5 of them under a bantam, but unless you can collect them (Northumberland) it wont be for a week or so before i can get any too you. When you do get any eggs discard the ones she is currently sat on.
RubyTex 1,957
Cheers Millet and Moll, i've got no car so can't collect unfortunately, would be willing to wait though. Looking for any chicken hatching eggs really, them Seramas are nice although i'm not fussed about specific breeds. Cheers

RubyTex 1,957
Ah well i'm fcuked then mate she's only a young un, i looked in this morning she's now sat on four eggs...one egg keeps getting added each day, is this the normal crack or what? Cause i'm thinking if the eggs go the distance, won't they hatch one day after another? my logic anyway. Edited June 21, 2012 by RubyTex
Millet 4,497
Yes the egg's will all hatch a different time's..your best bet is to take them out and replace them with dummie egg's...then keep taking the fresh laid one's out and mark them...once you have collected 5 or 6 put the fresh one's under and keep removing anymore that get laid...she will stop laying eventually..or leave the ones you have under her for now till i can get you some of Moll.
