Goodbye Twig.......

Recommended Posts

My beautiful and much loved Twig is now chasing rabbits and hares in the sky. Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.

I have had a terrible few days watching my 14year old bedlington/greyhound cross lurcher detiriorate rapidy resulting in her being put to sleep yesterday. In her prime she was a great rabbiting dog, daytime and nightime, but most of all a real character and a loved and faithful companion through thick and thin..

Hope the upload works.

RIP Twig x

I don't think there is any one of us, who have had dogs over many years that have not gone though what you are feeling now. You took the right option that is what counts.

I sometimes think that dogs with true caring owners are lucky, as when the time comes, the owner recognises it and does what is necessary. Not pleasant by any means, but it does give the owner a sense of "I did my best by the dog".

If only we humans were allowed the same privileges that we give to animals.
