The liverpool/leed's canal has produced perch upto 31/2lb and probably over, lot's of perch in there, just got to find the better one's, also the bridgewater in runcorn has produced some cracker's, not sure on size,river dee aswell, but for being local i would say the liverpool/leed's, lot's of great looking place's to try, and they love lure's and spinner's. :thumbs:

carrside as some big perch start off feeding maggots to feed the little perch off and use a worm on the hook or a small roach if you catch one also as billy said try the leeds/liverpool cannal to catch a big perch mate your going to have to put the time in on the bank :thumbs: ..john

A lot of the plonker, pole, pellet & puddlepig pits have BIG perch in them and hardly anyone fishes for them. Try worm / maggot or prawns fished next to weedbeds, rushes, lillies or overhanging trees / bushes. First and last light are usually best.
