Parabuteos lad 878
Hi all, after recently passing my driving test, i am now looking to increase my perch pb. They are my favourite fish and im looking for a venue in north west UK, preferably Merseyside, that holds BIG perch... Quote Link to post
billybaltic 308
The liverpool/leed's canal has produced perch upto 31/2lb and probably over, lot's of perch in there, just got to find the better one's, also the bridgewater in runcorn has produced some cracker's, not sure on size, river dee aswell, but for being local i would say the liverpool/leed's, lot's of great looking place's to try, and they love lure's and spinner's. 1 Quote Link to post

Guest bullterrier
carrside as some big perch start off feeding maggots to feed the little perch off and use a worm on the hook or a small roach if you catch one also as billy said try the leeds/liverpool cannal to catch a big perch mate your going to have to put the time in on the bank ..john Quote Link to post

PeakOil 352
A lot of the plonker, pole, pellet & puddlepig pits have BIG perch in them and hardly anyone fishes for them. Try worm / maggot or prawns fished next to weedbeds, rushes, lillies or overhanging trees / bushes. First and last light are usually best. Quote Link to post
