RubyTex 1,957
My light sussex hen has decided to go broody, but she's only sitting on two eggs? Is this normal? I tried to turf her out of the nest and got a lot of clucking and pecking, i thought they needed a good clutch (6-10) of eggs before sitting?? First time i've had a hen go broody

RubyTex 1,957
Cheers Moll, just thought they had to build up a decent clutch before sitting. She's still sat, i lifted her off and she laid on the floor, had a drink then jumped back in the box. Oh well, chuffed!!
