jackwhippet 3 Posted June 19, 2012 Report Share Posted June 19, 2012 hi i have the said air rifle and would like to tidy the rifle up (stock and barrel) and i would also like to put a new spring in it and give it a general overhaul, so i can hand it over to my 11yr old son, can you tell me if its an easy job that can be done by myself in my workshop. im a pretty hands on guy and can turn my hand to most things and fell that i could competently do you job just looking for advice for removal of the spring or even a link to a diagram would be greatly appreciated. regards Nick Quote Link to post

It's not fantastic but it's the best I can find. If you're fairly clued up about basic mechanical principles then you should be fine. Just be careful when you free up the spring from the cylinder, if it's in good nick it'll be under a fair bit of pre-load.
