PM me your address and i'll get one in the post to you either this evening or tomorrow. Aint got a any rabbit rings left so it will have to have a skinny dog lead ring so you might want to replace it with a rabbit purse net ring if you have one or a good strong split ring like you use for your car keys works well too :thumbs:

tried everything over the last thirty odd years some better than others but the best is what i use now .i buy a horses nylon lunging rein cut it into the lengths i need and glue and stich a handle on one end by folding into a loop .the lunging rein is about a tenner and makes 3 or 4 slips plus the end with the clip on makes a cracking dogs lead as well. so you end up with 4 slips and a lead .strong comfortable and never wear or rot .as i said best ive ever used, loads of my mates cadge them of me when we are out with the dogs .

Strong stuff collar and strong stuff slip lead.

Tried everything over the years and this suits me best.

I used to have a leather collar and slip in one which had a quick release catch which I reall liked but my bitch now is too short at 23", my old dog was 26" and just the right height.

I also like running my dog with a collar on. Just personal preference.

i havnt read all the replys, in the past i try to dispense with a lead completely as soon as possible when lamping alone but if theres other dogs on the field i only ever use a bit of cord, a young dog is far less likely to lean on the lead if its thin cord. looped round the wrist. its ifinately adjustable, you cant lose it, it never gets in the way,(hands free for retrieves) and it cant foul up or release prematurely,

rope is the worst thing iv ever used, uncomfy as fook, get a few off strong stuff mate, an loop the wrsit loop throo ye velcro sleeve fastners so when ye slip an let go it just trails behind ye, or if ye aint got velcro wrist straps on ye jacket , be carefull with them lol

before i started using strong stuff slips, i used to get the wee bits a nylon with the plastic hook on that they use at tesco an other supermarkets to deal with the trolleys an tale the wee placcy hook off them :D:thumbs:

SS are spot on  , just slip through collar great, and easy in your pocket when not being used.!
