mally 832
Farmer should have noticed it mate, afterall stock should be checked everyday. No excuse. I was out lamping on saturday night with my mate and we found a lamb with it's head caught in the wire fence, looked like it had been stuck ages. I got it out and it went and found the ewe thankfully. 1 Quote Link to post

Even when stock is checked every day these things happen, calves can go down quick, a lamb can stick it's head through a fence ten minutes after the rounds have been done, that's livestock for you. 2 Quote Link to post

Moll. 1,770
Chances are the farmer may have already known. You have to remember they are not pets wont be brought indoors in front of the fire when poorly Give it treatment and hope for the best. Perfectly natural for it to die out in the field, that's what animals do 2 Quote Link to post
