For RM 2508 i wouldnt expect a 100lb full alaunt to turn like a lurcher but for one to straight line a lurcher isnt bad i put zeus over one greyhound bitch every pup went to working homes and started early pre ban never barked at a cub  am happy ratting and rabbiting pm me if you want to know more atb a pup out of little un CSC_1047.jpg

Right this is my last post on this thread as Im asking genuine questions and getting nowhere, so I'll ask again, hopefully get honest answers, anyone else with constructive input feel free to add.

As I said pups can throw all sorts of ways, put a pic up of a heavy pup, look at tyson out of lucyxzeus? and if your referring to that time 8 1/2 years ago, when I slipped old bitch on cub and she never took it, that was the first one she had seen, I've never once said she was a fox bitch, at 23.5tts and 44lb she was not really built for them, edible game never put a foot wrong, and I've never once stood her next to shot quarry to make her look good. She isn't a loose cannon of a yard dog, nor a racing dog as much as she's not the type to stand next to shot quarry as if to say, "I done that" lietome I'm in no way having a dig at the breed, and Zeus & Xena are an athletic example of that, but if you want to do rabbits or rats what does the alaunt bring to the table? If you fancy a night out on the rabbits or what not get something organised and we'll get out? Nothing to hide with my dogs they'll do legal quarry all night long.

What makes your alaunts better than any of the others out there? You have posted time and time again about your line? Is that what you are aiming to achieve? The Hancock of the alaunt world? People are talking about it I'm just asking the questions, Not a dig but look at it from another point of view? You've owned the breed for 7yrs Zeus being your first? When was the last time Zeus lined a bitch and when did you retire him due to injury? When was the last time you seen him? And how many dogs can be traced back to him? If you looking for a racier more agile type why put little un in the mix? Why not add other blood in instead of your own? Again this goes back to are you starting your own line? Yes or no simple question requires a simple answer?

Ive decided to answer your questions zeus was used over 2 alaunts lucy who ended up in a dogs home she deserved better and a bitch called tess another good worker then he was used over a track greyhound which produced 4 pups all worked, well i suppose ive the zeus line he was retired after he tore ligaments in his back leg all pups out of him were more athletic and racy than the dams, the ex still has him now he wasnt left to rake buckets, why did i use little un well he fears nothing strong drives will protect and hunt he was put over my own bitch out zeus and briggs tess twice one was a mistake lads on here have pups out of both litters for obvious reasons wont be posting some were working at 8months all have taken to the athletic zeus side very bold confident well put together not slab sided like lucy and little un and like most of the first generation ones as for being the hancock of the alaunt world ive bred 2 litters in 8years one was a mistake, yes shot foxes as it keeps you within the law am sure they wouldnt bark at a 12lb fox atb

ive answered your questions here are some for you where is lucy now why was kia the only pup left local how many litters of pups were bred from your mates down here ive bred two litters one a mistake that doesn't make me the hancock of the alaunt world

Lucy I believe is in the sspca kennels at balerno, I believe Kia was the only one left because his missus got rid of the pups whilst he was away? May be wrong, and maybe I was wrong with the Hancock comment, I'll apologise for that part, and it is a different pup in the for sale section so I'll apologise for that too, and Im under the assumption that he bred 2 litters from his alaunt, if your on about my mate, who I thought was also your mate?
