saintsman54 15
My ferret has a tick between it toes on its hind paw, I have the tick remover that is recommended in the pinned post but I can't reach this tick. My question is does the spray for ticks also remove ticks that are present or does it just repel them? Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
Just zap it with a quick blast of Frontline: kills them quickly. Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
I wouldn't use any detergent, but you can coat the tick in Vaseline, which stops it breathing, so it then dies and falls off: but you need to make sure the head and body are covered in the grease, without disturbing the tick too much which would make it vomit its contents into the dog which could cause infection.
