mally 832
what are all your opinions on bull whippet lurchers ? can the addition of a small amount of bull improve the dogs ability to work , more robust , stamina , thicker skin, or does it simply make the dog to heavy and detract from the whippets speed and agility ? I've never had a problem with my whippets skin on the land i work them on mate, whippets tend to just bounce off fences and with them being quite light injury's seem few and far between. I wouldn't have a dog with any bull in them in my kennels, but it's horses for courses etc. Quote Link to post

Guest born to run1083
Thanks jamie, that's much appreciated You'd be welcome to use the little b*****d. He's a good dog, if you can accept that when it comes to hunting, he does / goes, what and where he thinks is best. Most of the time. . . . the little fecker is right Maybe after a fw more years, he will have learnt how to 'relax'? I'd say, that a lot of the strong dogs (obviously not all) have blood that comes from Mike Browns kennels. Aye mate he's a good dog, and he's got a nose like a beagle, prime example that some sight hounds still have got a good hover tracker on them lol. I like the more head strong dogs they seem to suit me, plus I'm a strong believer when the going gets tough they don't seem to quit. I think it would be a handy tool off him over Missy. Iv a half x bull whippet but mines for more than just rabbits but if it was for just rabbits would go for the 3/4 x. Quote Link to post
