vermin catcher 219
Mate i went out last season with business cards i got made with "rabbit control" free.. ect,ect printed on them with my telephone number on the bottom.I took my two youngest sons 6-8 years old with me and just went round some farms about my area and knocked doors or put them through their letter box.I usually go hunting in my transit van but some farmers think you are up to no good if you arrive in their yard in a van, they get very suspicious probably for good reason. So i got the two wee sons and as the guy above stated ,i arrived dressed respectivly with two kids in the wifes shiny car.If you just arrive, pile out of a van in combat clothing with dogs and a bunch of tattooed mates most people will be running to dial 999. Lets face it if 2 or 3 guys arrived in your front garden asking questions about rabbits on your land you would probably feel uneasy yourself and you have neighbours and witness's all around your street So do what i did cause im not joking mate my phone never stopped for a few days after and i got around 10-12 new farms to hunt.Dont know if it was the two wee boys with me or the cards but it worked, give it a go.Best of luck 2 Quote Link to post

max abell 196
Gey yourself on the ladder mate by knocking some doors and the rest comes by word and mouth When we started with the one bit of ground years ago has led to thousands of acres of ferreting and shooting permission we now turn it away because we just dont have the time to do any more land and we dont want to promise the land owner something we cant acheive due to no time GOOD LUCK with finding some permission mate keep knocking doors and you will get some 1 Quote Link to post
