Marksman 934
Howdy folks.... Well since the TX200 turned out as well as it did and impressed quite a few folks at the meet in Nottingham I managed to pick a HW97K up fairly cheap and thouught I'd try and work "my magic" on this one too and see what happens! Anyway, here's my usual documented refurb.... The way it arrived... Scratched stock Rusted & Pitted 5 Shot chrono String Very low on power Very well looked after......??? Start of the strip Why do people insist on using engine oil to lubricate a rifle??? note the damage to the seals using engine oil due to dieselling.... and also a dry & snapped Ox spring.... Keep looking in for the start of the refurb & tune.... Darryl 1 Quote Link to post

tegater 789
Excellent that Darryl. I am thinking of getting a second hand 97, for use around farm buildings on a new permission I have got, where the shotty or hmr are not suitable. What I would like to know is: Is there much that can go wrong with a 97, that a refurb wouldn't be able to sort out? Thank you. Quote Link to post
