PlasticJock 539
Such is the world we live in pj. Is it fair, I think not, but honestly what you gona do. End up in a debtors court , repossession etc. what you on about anyway you have a tv liscence lol I don't mate I used to pay for them however since starting my new life I haven't bought one. I live in a first floor flat with secure entry so they can stick it. They'd have you believe they can pinpoint the signal ffs it won't be long before this digital changeover means they can turn your household service on or off depending on whether you've paid. We all know the attitude of the BBC yet pay them to tell lies, then moan about it. Each to their own but I reserve the right to fcuk them off and go to court if needs be

Would you pay a licence to read books? Exactly the same thing. funny that you pay for all your licenses except tv, we have to pay for our shite to be flushed aswell, do you not think this is taking the piss. you will need a licence to wipe your ass soon , get use to it because it aint going to get any better. the big man on the door dont pay his tv license , what a bruiser you see all the licenses he buys and i buy is something that we want to use, i have a rod license because i want to go fishing, i won't pay for something that is rammed out FREE TO AIr then be told i have to pay for it when i don't even watch the bbc

Like when you do a course - when the instructor says 'any questions'? No one asks, yet after most didn't understand something. Too afraid of looking stupid.

PlasticJock 539
PS Whippet - I'm not looking for an arguement and if you pay it to make your life easier then fairplay... scothunter 12,609
Ok I get what you Lads are saying, and I do agree to a certain degree. But let's look at this way , a tv liscence is 146 quid or something. Ok you say they can't do f**k all about it then why did pjs wife get fined a grand ? And I'm guessing she wasn't the only one. So I get hit with a grand fine , for the sake of hundred odd quid , how pissed off would you feel then? I'm also guessing of you don't pay it they will jail you. Dont take offense to this lads, but only an idiot would go to jail for 140 or someone who hasnt been locked u before. Despite the stories you hear about it being a holiday camp with TVs and play stations, which is utter shit lol

Also, as far as the system is concerned I earn very little, so non paymet of fines are softened. And no that doesn't mean I don't pay income tax Parking fines are yet another thing... I simply ignore everything that's through my door - they know where I live and guess what? Never been to court for it Scammers 'phish' for info, these twats do the same...
