aye, usually go to this one.

The SCA has not done Glamis for two years its Jade promotions that do it

Enjoyed scone last year. Spent most the day in the medical tent with my wee boy though.

Am going glamis this year as I've never been before and camping there too. Mainly for the missus as she's into horses etc

Agree it's a rip off but what isn't nowadays

Go to the pictures for a couple of hours and it costs you a tenner.......go Go-karting, paintballing for an hour it costs you 40 quid. Its a one off thing a year so i reckon in the long run its not too expensive. Wouldn't like to go every week but its the one weekend of the year i really look forward too. Hope it good weather or that completely spoils everything.... :cray:

You go in with the family your £60 just to get in and walk round looking at clothes and furniture . take a dog and enter a show your £15 down and your at the ring all day and dont see the show . We used to go for the day come out fire up the barby sit down with a few lads and let the traffic queues fight it out and go home once it was quiet the last twice ive been round saw a embarrassing center ring display and been home before six pm and had the barby in the garden . When i go to a GAME Fair i expect to see shooting ,hunting and ferreting stuff , If i wanted plants and garden furniture i would go to one of these crap COUNTRY FAIRS . Talking to a few guys going to scone they have had a walk round and there only purchases where from the food hall :whistling: christ just go to asda and save the fifteen quid , i bet they think there doing a wonderful job that they raise the entrance money

i ordered tickets for glamis and asked the lady why there was no lurcher/ terrier show. she replied that the poeple who run/ organise the dog show backed out at the beginning of this year. she hasnt been able to find anybody else that can run a show and is really dissapointing that she hasnt got one this year. if anybody knows anybody that would like to run a working dog show/ racing at glamis then she said please feel free to ring/email her and she will sort it out with you. still 5 weeks left until the festival to sort it out.

It has been a rubbish show since it started when it was a SCA here is nothing worth buying and you can walked round the whole thing in 1/2 an hour ....there are a few lads from fife and kinross terriers on here maybe they can shed some light on why they pulled out of the show
