Passer dom 0
Ian Woods (Protrapper) is still selling from his site www.greysquirrelcontrol.co.uk He also has a new site Ian Woods Wildlife Management Services with new phone numbers. He owes a lot of money to suppliers. I'm told that this is not the first time! Quote Link to post

Matt 160
I'm going to surprise some folks by saying this, but in my book, family comes first. Cut the guy some slack - nursing a close family member who is terminally ill is not nice. I'm sure that if he says that he's going to honour orders or repay, then that is what he will do. I totally agree Matt family does come first, they are the most important thing in my life............but, when he continues to run a business, taking money off people, with promises that never materialise, then that affects other people and their livelihoods and families. I would hate to be in his position, and if true I feel for the fella, but a simple note, or caviat on his website, would give people the heads up that there may be a long wait, and/or give them the choice to go elsewhere based on the information available. 3 Quote Link to post
PWPC 0
Just found out that he is trading under J D Engineering now and is talking at a forthcoming seminar in October. Still selling traps etc online but hasn't honoured outstanding orders paid for as Protrapper. Not good! Quote Link to post

I also agree with matt and this quote above! Family does come first but he is finding the time to make all these new sites and takes the orders and payments ok, just never delivers the goods! If you have no intention in posting goods you shouldn't take the money and promise orders! Our companies need reliable suppliers to be able to offer a reliable service! I now use magnum trap company and he is a great guy! Traps delivered asap! He just doesn't take cards! Quote Link to post
DKGPestControl 22
He has even found the time to do a seminar / training day in the north for Barratine! Quote Link to post
snatchbullet 55
I had problems with him a few months ago Quote Link to post
Dr mole 15
I went to the Barrettine seminar yesterday and was looking forward to his talk. He cancelled and the slot was hastily filled with another talk. His excuse? His father died. Quote Link to post

I've got the Tshirt on this topic Matt. We all understand family illnesses, and we've all got sympathy for them going through tough times. But, buisness is buisness. If a person can't run theirs then either get some help in, or close temporarily. The trouble here, from the customers POV, is that the buisness has no trouble taking the customers money then doing f**k all else, no emails, no goods. That'll get people annoyed 100% of the time I got a refund, but I had to post here to get it, even after emailing for one. How much is a good name worth? Quote Link to post
