i was thinking that as well.maybe he either tried it on a long ear on the lamp or through the day?and it ran out of puff or never made much of an impression on the long ear?but like you say,its still a pup.but even if it dont make a good hare dog?hopefully it will be good on other things?even just a rabbit dog thats retrieving to hand is worth its weight in gold so if the dogs doing just that?then its worth what the guy is asking all day long.
