The bit that worries me is when you said (his leg was wobbling all over the place). To me, and no I'm not a vet but I've seen more injuries than I care to remember, this implies a lot more than just

If it was my dog i'd have been to the greyhound vet by now, not having a pop just saying it how it is. There's been a few threads about injured dogs on here over the past few days, some havn't even be

I'd be very worried if my vet said he needed another vets opinion, time to find another vet mate. There is a good greyhound vet in loughborough he has treated a couple of mates dogs and they have been very happy with him. I don't have his number as i always use Paul Evans at Manchester but i can get you his number is you would like it please pm me.

Thats the greyhound vet i was on about in my earlier post. My mates are very happy with what he did to there dogs. He knows his stuff and he'll tell you how it is.

its the same guy who ampitated my cousins dogs toes. he will probably be my next step even if its for advice on it not treatment. i am concerned about him and would like a greyhound vet opinion for peace of mind mostly, all i wanna know is its not gunna effect his running or work ability. atb

There's been a few threads about injured dogs on here over the past few days, some havn't even been taken ot a vets. If they thought anything about there dogs they would go to the vets first before putting it up here just like Nottzhunter08 did.

I treat alot of injuries to my dogs myself but i don't hesitate to get to the vets if it's something i'm not sure about or if it's serious, i owe them that much with the graft they do for me.

ive got a dog here that DISLOCATED his hock, strapped up and and a splint and just shit and piss walks for 6 weeks, then lead walks for another 6 weeks minimum and a whole lot of patience....its amazing how unfit they get after missing a whole season (but thats down to me aswell.lol). and the black guy from lichfield is don, alot of the lads from the midlands will know him well from his days at dunton vets (mrs jones') i use another guy who used to work at dunton, andre pretorius, he is the vet at hall green i think (or perry barr).

hope your dog comes good.

matt
