yes mate back on thursday, all the vets have done is give him pain killers and took an x-ray. how did your bitch recover pal?

my bitch made a full recovery, it is a slow road back to full recovery and you must be patient, i'm no expert, but your vet should have bandaged a splint onto the leg if there was a fracture showing on the x-ray, how did you get on today?

The bit that worries me is when you said (his leg was wobbling all over the place). To me, and no I'm not a vet but I've seen more injuries than I care to remember, this implies a lot more than just

Thats why the poor dog needs bloody painkillers mate because the legs not supported. It's been going on a little too long in my opinion. Get the poor dog to a vet that knows what he's doing mate. Bring the dog over if you want me to put a support bandage on it, i'm in north notts.

We even have splints etc in the dog firstaid kit in the car when we go field walking along with painkillers etc.

If you give me a ring mate i'll give you my landline number and tell you where i am. I've also got a few things here that will make him much more comfortable.

In fact give me a prank call and i'll ring you back mate.

fair play to you mally, NH i can't believe the vet didn't put anything on the leg, it has been said already, get rid of that vet, injuries like this should really be dealt with right away, he has let you and your dog down, hope he makes a full recovery as i am sure he will, atb.

I spoke to a friend who's dog fractured it's hock over the weekend, he took his dog to Paul Evans and he made it a fibreglass splint/cast which stayed on for 6 weeks and with gentle exercise etc the dog has made a full recovery.
